Episode 13 | It's all in your head!

We are really excited to launch Season 2 of Reframe Your Life. We learned so much in our first season and we continue to learn and improve with each episode. One thing that emerged during Season 1 were certain themes that we continue to come back to no matter what topic we are discussing.  It became clear that there are certain habits, processes, tools and a mindset that support reframing our lives.

Here are some of the things that we discussed in our episode this week and resources to support your further learning on the topic of mindset.

Mindset:  A mindset is a set of assumptions, methods, or notations held by one or more people or groups of people that is so established that it creates a powerful incentive within these people or groups to continue to adopt or accept prior behaviors, choices, or tools.

It can be a fixed mindset (I can’t change, grow or develop) or a growth mindset (we can change and develop). Your probably have fixed and growth mindsets in different areas of your life.  

There are four areas that can really help when it comes to developing a mindset to help you Reframe Your Life:

  • Reflection:
  • Reality
  • Realign
  • Relationships

You will hear us talk about these areas often!  We created a worksheet for our newsletter subscribers to help you explore these areas in your own life.  Sign up for our newsletter by the end of September 2016 and we will send it to you!
